A therapeutic journey through the mind and senses.
Using a combination of a technique known as Breathwork, and a music set supplying specifically designed supportive sound waves.
The Wholistic Breathwork style that I practice, is best described as an “active” form of meditation. This is in contrast to the more widely known still and silent “passive” form of meditation. It enables the participant to access a deep level of introspection, but with the addition of expressing physically as the session unfolds. This can be a powerfully transformative experience – often referred to as ‘learning to let go’.
It is done lying on a mat with the eyes closed, with focus on expressing the internal response to the music and modified breathing. The facilitator is always present to support the client emotionally and keep them safe in the room.
For further discussion on how the process can aid physical, mental and emotional health, please use the links in the header above. The information is split into the categories: Body, Mind, Soul and Deeper (down the rabbit hole; for more in depth technical discussion)
